Special Session 2: Advanced Propulsion Technologies "先进推进技术"

This session focuses on cutting-edge aerospace propulsion technologies that are reshaping the boundaries of high-speed flight and space exploration. We will delve into supersonic combustion ramjet (scramjet) engines, which enable hypersonic vehicles to achieve efficient operation at speeds exceeding Mach 5; detonation engines, renowned for their high thermal efficiency and unique operating mechanisms; and advanced plasma propulsion, offering revolutionary potential for long-duration space missions. The session aims to bridge theoretical innovations and practical applications, inviting researchers to share breakthroughs in combustion dynamics, fluid mechanics, thermal management, and energy conversion. By fostering in-depth discussions on these transformative technologies and their foundational research, we seek to accelerate the development of next-generation propulsion systems for missions both within and beyond Earth's atmosphere.
