The Family Taskforce Group is charged with addressing issues facing African-American males in the area of family.  Members of this group, with assistance from the Family Strengthening Coalition, will develop recommendations for actions to combat the problems that African-American males and their families face. The information gathered will then be disseminated to appropriate agencies in the community.

Members of the Taskforce Group have identified the following issues as the most pressing:

1. Decreasing domestic violence

2. Increasing two parent households

3. Increasing faith based connections
