Employment Taskforce

The Employment Taskforce is charged with addressing issues facing African-American males in the area of employment.  Members of this group, with assistance form the Key Stakeholder, The Indianapolis Private Industry Counsel (IPIC), will develop recommendations for actions to combat the problems that African-American males face when attempting to find employment. The information will then be disseminated to appropriate agencies in the community.

Members of the Taskforce Group have identified the following issues as the most pressing:

1.Pre-release resource/employment fair for offenders.

2.Job fair targeting African-American males.
